Default Good hard drive backup software (Vista and RAID compatible)?

I'm about to format and redo my system and install Vista. I want to know what is a good hard drive backup program that that's Vista and RAID compatible. I need it to let me make an exact image of my hard drive that I can store on another (non raid) hard drive over a network. So if I ever format or my drive crashes I can just put the image back on and not have to reinstall Windows and my software. Please advise.

- Just learned that Vista has it's own backup utility. How well does it work and will it do what I want it to do?
