Is this a good deal?

Hello,

I have an Acer E380 right now with an x1650 card in it:

Acer Aspire E380-ED401A (Athlon 64 X2 4000+ 2GHz, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, Vista Home Premium) Specs. Desktops Specifications.

Someone at my school is selling an x1800xt 512 MB for $100. Is that a good deal? And would my computer bottleneck it/would I need anything else? I know the 512MB is overkill because my monitor is old (HP f1703) but I'm not too worried about that as much as the computer aspect.

Oh, sorry, I already have the computer, I was just wondering about the video card.

x1800xt is a good deal for $100

but the x2 4000+ not going to bottleneck the x1800xt

because I've seen x1950xt's with like athlon64 3400+ and have it not bottleneck

Well that's good news. But will my power supply be enough to use it?

well if I knew what the amperage on the 12v Rails are on the PSU, then I could tell you (and no its not 250w)

Lol...I know that much...but not much else. Is there a way for me to find that out without opening up my machine?

its on the PSU unfortunately, but you could just pull of the side and read it
