I bought my custom made system about 3 years ago.

AMD Athlon [tM] 64 processor 3500+

My motherboard supports SLI Video cards so my question is, is it worth it to buy another Nividia Geforce 6800 GT or get a new updated video card.

I guess my question is, Is running two 6800 GT better than the standard models on the market today.

The GeForce 6 series are outdated. Getting a single powerful card, will crush those two 6800GTs.

SLI is not worth it, unless you play on huge resolutions. Such as 1920 x 1200 or 2560 x 1600.

I'd say, sell your 6800GT, and get something like a 7900GS or X1950XT. Or save a little more, and get the 8800GTS. Which is the hot card for gaming, at the moment.

Or....the HD 2900PRO, that just released. It's a powerful card for the money.

Yeah that's the general feeling i had. Thanks
