Ok, for my birthday I am deciding on getting a new rig. Now this will be my first build and I need it to be under $300. I will be using it for visual editing, media and some gaming possibly. I already have 2 CD Rom drives; one DVD/CD burner and a regular cd burner/dvd rom Here are the specs, will it be good or should I change some stuff around.

Western Digital Caviar SE 160GB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive $43
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ 2.4GHz Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Processor $58
WINTEC 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory $37
ASRock ALiveNF7G-FullHD R3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard $67
Linkworld PRESCOTT 437-01-C2222 Black Computer Case $29.99

Try and buy a case that DOESN'T come with a power supply and buy one seperatly. Check these forums for the best brands as cheap ones can ruin your whole rig.

Hard drives are pretty cheap now day's, you could go to a 500GB for not a whole lot more. (160GB won't last long trust me)

The board has onboard graphics but it will be sharing with your RAM, so keep in mind that 256MB of your 2GB will disapear for graphics, suggesting a cheap 8600GT down the track maybe if you get some more money.

for that build im sure a generic psu would be fine. But make sure it will have room for any upgrade's(should be about a 400w to 500w) and if you do want to pic up a cheap gpu later on don't get an 8600gt, get a 7300gt (not sure if is is gt or gs) or something really cheap.
