The 4650 without a doubt.

The 9500gt is about = 8600gt while the HD 4650 is a good bit below the HD 3850.

I had a HD4650, and was able to play most of my games on high settings with 4x AA. Crysis was the only game I was unable to do that with. Surprisingly good card, if you can get one with DDR3. It's pretty much an underclocked 4670 (or so I have read).

hehe now I'm confused. I came here for a second thought on the matter and you guys chose 4650 while my other forum suggested the 9500gt?

according to this comparison would you still suggest the 4650?
Video Card Comparison - GPUReview.com

does the shader clock, memory clock and memory bandwidth have much significance? because the 9500gt owns that area of the comparison.

That gpureview site is about what "looks good on paper" type comparison.

I agree with everybody on the HD4650 being the better card.

Here's another review for proof:
techPowerUp :: Sapphire HD 4650 OC Edition 512 MB Review :: Page 6 / 30
The HD4650 pretty much beats the 9500GT in most games.

Plus, it's on a smaller fabrication so it consumes less power.

....because they are manufacturers for ATi.

ATi sends manufacturers their blueprint for their graphics chipset and what not, and then companies such as Sapphire, make the cards.
