Question Geforce 7950 GX2 Vs Geforce GTS 450

I'm wondering if there is a huge difference between the Geforce 7950 GX2 Vs Geforce GTS 450.

I currently have a 7950 GX2 graphics card, which I know is only directx 9 but that isn't my worry right now.

I was wondering if the performance of the Geforce GTS 450 would be great enough to be worth buying compared to just keeping the 7950 GX2. I'm really into MMOs in general but with WoW: Cataclysm coming out I hope to have a mostly lag free computer on high settings at least by the time it comes out.

It would basically be a temp card until the 25th when I get a Geforce GTX 580. (Using Best Buy's extended return policy to my advantage.)

The 7950 GX2 is lacking but I wouldn't waste my money on a GTS 450 if I had a GTX 580 coming on the 25th. Without knowing what the rest of your system is, but judging from the 7950's age, I would spend the GTS 450 money on a good power supply.
