Default game quality

how well will i be able to run games like half-life 2, CS Source and other games of that graphic intensity on an AMD Athlon 64 3700+
, 1 gig of ram, and eVGA GeForce 6800GS? also.. what graphic settings will those games run smoothly without lag?

It will run fine. The graphics card is the most important.

It should run most at the at or close to high settings.

you do have a few. you could just ask these questions in your first or second thread. but to answer your question you will be able to run games great. you have a good video card. so you should get close to high settings.
