Friends eMachine Upgrade...

Ok, so my friend has an eMachine, listed below:

He wants to play HL2, and he gets like 30FPS on low settings. Now he wants to upgrade to a PCI-E card that his PSU can handle, and I suggested this one:

He should be able to play the game if he forces the DX down to 7.0

And the x700pro isnt a bad choice for a cheap PCI-E card if he goes that route...

Yeah thats what I figured, and it isn't a power hog.

And people say on 1024x768 they get great fps on high.
