Default Friend Upgrade?

My friend is looking for a computer upgrade. His specs are 2.5Ghz celeron and 512MB ram. He says that he found a x700Pro DDR3 256MB/128bit for $120 USD. He wants to know if this card would be good enough for a year or two to play games at 800x600 medium settings. I dont know that much about Graphics Cards so I decided to ask you guys. I told him that he would still need to buy a new cpu and more memory so i convinced him to get a pentium 4 3.0E cpu and 2GB of patriot signiture memory when he gets the money. I also told him that he could get a 6600 standard for the same price but he only has a 250w PSU so i guess it doesnt matter anyways. Thank You you to anyone that can help.

He could replace the power supply. That's a pretty low wattage anyway.

Do you know what his board is?
