anyone know the mobo model numbe? he's switching cases and needs to know what goes where

You can use CPU-Z to find out what motherboard it has.

Edit: PP makes a good point, go use a utility like CPU-Z or Speccy. I also like Belarc.

Trying to teach which is why I didn't willingly give the information. If you have physical access to a machine CPU-Z is the easiest way to identify a motherboard.

To find the model name:
Go to 'start', 'asseccesories', 'system tools', 'system information'
You'll see the name under 'system model'
There you go
