i have some cash on me which I was saveing for my own build..so I guess im going to use it to mod this hp out a bit

corsair psu ios good.
download cpu-z to find out what mb is in your pc.

You could always replace the mobo with a new one to open up the ability to overclock or gain additional features. Pop in a new cooler, too, and you are set to go (with the new PSU).

tahts a good idea lif it still fits his buget. and then he has a backup mobo which always comes in handy.

except he said the pc cost 1100 and after the warranty it came to 1700 or something...which means he paid a lot for a warranty to void it the first month or so he's had it.
