Default First Time Barebone Build

I want to start looking at options for building a barebones pc. My intended use is a media center for my living room. Important features for me are space for a large hard drive (500Gb or more), ability to play bluray at its original resolution, and moderately fast processing speed. Any suggestions as far as ideas for build components or places that I can do more research would be appreciated. While this is not my first time building I am not the most experienced at it.
