Default First Computer Build

I decided to build a computer recently. I've been looking around the past few days and I've considered buying the following:

ASRock 970 Extreme 4 - ASRock 970 EXTREME4 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

AMD Phenom II x2 555 - AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition Callisto 3.2GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 80W Dual-Core Desktop Processor - C3 Revision HDZ555WFGMBOX

Sapphire Radeon HD 6670

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W - OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular High Performance Power Supply compatible with Intel Sandybridge Core i3 i5 i7 and AMD Phenom

Western Digital 1TB 7200RPM

G. Skill Ripjaws - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL

Corsair CWCH50-1 - CORSAIR CWCH50-1 High Performance CPU Cooler

Rosewill Challenger

Asus DVD Burner

I plan on overclocking the processor and installing Linux. Will the power supply be sufficient and are these components compatible? Thanks in advance.

i think you dont need that many watts, say 450 would be fine. I would also take a look at a different brand; i like antec and corsair especially.

Intel Core i5-2500K
ASUS P8Z68-V LE LGA 1155 Intel Z68
Corsair 550VX
1Tb Samsung Spinpoint F3
1Tb WD Caviar Green
2Tb WD Caviar Green
8gb DDR3 Corsair Vengeance 1600
Sapphire Radeon 6870

Actually, the OCZ ModX models are very nice. It's always good to have extra power, for upgrades later down the line.
