First Computer Build - $1000 Price Range

Looking to build a computer in the $1000 range. I'll probably order off of newegg or from a local shop my buddy works at. I pieced this together myself, and I'm looking for some input. I already have a Keyboard, mouse and monitor, I'll just need a new OS. If you guys could help out it would be greatly apreciated

I was also thinking about getting this: Newegg.com - Thermaltake Element G VL18501W2Z Black SECC / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Gaming Case w/ 850W Modular Power Supply but I'm worried that "modular" is their word for "proprietary" as in have fun never being able to replace your PSU.

Are you planning on a dual video card system later? You don't need 750 watts for the system you have listed. A 600 watt power supply is more than enough for your planned system. This power supply will save you a few Dollars.

I'm planning on running either 2 4870's or 1 5850, I'm not sure yet. What would you recommend?

If you are going to run Win7, go with the 5850.
