first build

Im looking for some help , i have read alot and have chosen a set of components. I was hoping that you could just have a look and make any suggestions that would improve this setup.

also i was wondering if i needed any extra fans in the case or on the processer.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600
2 x 1gb Corsair PC4200 533MHz DDR2 ram
Gigabyte AM2 nForce 430 ATX motherboard
Maxtor DiamondMax 10 300gb HDD
Antec Neo HE ATX 500w psu

I will be using windows XP home and i have already selected a suitable graphics card. I will be using the PC mainly for gaming.

anything i've missed?

To save you some money, I'd look into either the 4200+X2 or 3800+X2, and just overclock it to 4600+ speeds. I'd also look into Seagate or Western Digital hard drives, as they're more reliable brands then Maxotr. Also get the Antec Trupower 2.0 550W:

Yea it's good to get an aftermarket cooling for your processor when overclocking.

I found a cheap Seagate Barracuda U100 320gb would this be ok or would more ex*****ve prove more economical in the long run?
