A few questions about my new build..

I'm starting a new build and I'm planning on installing 4GB of RAM but I was wondering if Windows XP Pro would support 4GB or if I would have to get a 64-bit Vista.

Also, what kind of optical drives should I get(w/ links or model names plz)

XP will not see more than 3.25 worth of ram.

I would get a Sata DVD burner... look on newegg for them. You can take your pick

I would say at this point to get Vista... XP is still good, but with the upgrades that are right around the corner... XP will go away in the semi-near future.
