any fans are fine, juust make sure the noise level and cfm is what you want, if you want a quiet fan you need one with a low dba which usual means a lower cfm, but if you want a high cfm fan then you will get a higher dba fan which means a louder one
 
i have those fans... they push good air with low noise. anything by masscool is usually a pretty solid product.,...not always quite, but very reliable
 
I've always used 120mm fans in an 80mm spot, as long as there is space for it. Just use twist ties or only keep it attached with one screw. Works fine, a lot less noise.

Maybe this is a no-no, but I haven't havent had any problems with it.
