what would be better: an enermax 460 watt with 42 on 12v rails or a hiper 530 watt with 36?

Depends On the Build.

However, IMO Go with the Enermax if your not too attached to module cabling.

Ive owned two enermaxs before this one. Always Stable and Rails are Solid.

You could Buy a 450 Watt Fortron and it would be fine.
If you like Modular Cabling Then Hiper.
If module doesn't matter to you then Enermax.

would that enermax power an 8800 gts? i'm gonna upgrade to one in like 3 months or so

i split this away from the sticky. please don't clutter stickied threads with questions. it's ok to ask questions in them but i like the questions to be kept to ones that actually relate in a way that answers add to the topic of the sticky.
