Default Energy Efficiency.

Was wondering how much energy my PC uses. I didn't take it into consideration as I was building it, and threw away all the original packaging with energy ratings on it. A bit lazy to look it up. Would you say my computer is energy efficient? Also, how would you build an energy efficient computer (not by means of putting it into sleep mode).

My specs:

600W OCZ ModXStream Pro
AMD Phenom II x4 Deneb
HIS HD 5770
ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO
Western Digital Caviar Black 750GB
G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
ASUS DRW-24B1ST
Rosewill 120mm 4 Blue LED

My EPU-4 Engine notes my current CO2 628.088mg, and I'm not really sure what that means.

The reason I ask; I was in the hospital for 2 1/2 days, my PC was running the entire time. Whoops.

Get a Kill-A-Watt. that can read all the power that goes through it. Newegg.com - P3 Kill A Watt Electricity Load Meter and Monitor

All recent computer parts are pretty much power efficient. Several of us here run our systems beefier than yours 24/7.

completely unrelated... My BIOS updates are coming in a .ROM file. How do I install those?

There are many ways to do it. I recommend doing it through the E-Flash in BIOS. put the .rom file on a pen drive.
