I take a long time looking for computer part deals online, newegg, tigerdirect...i was thinking about trying to buy parts on ebay but i wasn't sure how safe it is for computer parts. Any of you guys ever purchased your parts there?

It's best to buy from a shop unless the ebay price is cheap and the person has good feedback.

Yah definitely buy from someone who has some descent feedback. I bought lots of computer stuff off Ebay with no problems, but I guess you never know. You should be safe though.

I built my last computer off of ebay(not my current one). I didn't have any problems. Look for "not DOA", or a return policy.
