Default DVI to VGA question

Hi, im planning on buying a 7600gt:

and have a couple of questions i hope you could sort out:

1) Is this the best pci-e card for under £160 (i like the look of it but if you can recommend another pci-e card for under £160 i would be grateful)

2) Im currently using a Samsung CRT monitor with an analogue VGA adapter. The 7600gt im looking at has 1 Dual-Link DVI-I and 1 Single-Link DVI-I. I have an adapter from my old 9600 from DVI to VGA, will this work for any DVI port?

thanks in advance

It will come with the adapters anyway.

(If you asked this question last month, you would have been able to get a 7800gt, but is the way it has increased in price.)

Check the bottom of this page http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...00_Series.html
The XFX has a higher Core and memory clock, and it goes for 164GBP. But you could propably get the same speeds with your selection if you overclocked it a bit.

And yes, you can use any DVI adapter, not that it is nescessary, since the adapter comes supplied with most dual DVI card nowadays.
