^^yes, if you notice, the mobo does not have the four pin-holes above and beneath the flat blade plug. the adapter does. that adapter is for specific cards, not onboard video conversion.

this is one of the only ways to hook up a mobo like that to component.

and its iffy. i'd just buy a cheap 72-7300gs. they're only like 25 bucks.

imma just get this video card....it has s-video out and s-video to component cable included
