I thought it was just a way to plug in your monitor, but not sure it one of those things I never really cared about until now when I might want it.

What is it? What does it do?

Is it better?

Its digital instead of analog. It can support higher resolutions and it should have better quality.

But yeah i still dont get how its better, but i know it is.

It's just a different type of plug. It's a digital signal. The improvement is barely noticeable
