Default DVD-RW wont fit

Ive just recently got a new Case, the Asus TA-210 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal..._Cases_35.html second one down) , and i cannot fit my old DVD-RW into the case.

Ive realised that there is a sort of grey metal casing around the DVD-RW, and it is attached with little screws, might it be necessary to take the grey casing off?

Possibly try sliding it in from the other direction, or if its something on the side try to unscrew it.

do you mean the housing or brackets ??

cause you wont need to take the housing off....unless you want to expose all the wires ect. to dust and other particals in the air

I'm not sure, but I think there are two SLIGHTLY different sizes of CD-Drives. My older CD burner fits very snug in my case, is a tight squeeze, but my newer DVD burner slides right in pretty loosely, and there is a noticable small gap around the sides and top.
