Which DVD labeling system is best?

I have read a lot of discussions on which disc labeling systems are best. At this point I am more confused than ever. Can anyone make a short clear case for what is the best way to label Cds and DVDs? I make about 25-50 discs per month and need to make labeled discs that I can give to clients and not feel embarrassed. Any help will be appreciated.

i find the best way of printing on a CD/DVD is by way of the epson R300 printer granted you need a disk that has a blank (or white) service to print on it is a lot better then some sticky lable ones i've tryed

it will take plenty of ink mind you but it comes with its own softwear ect for easy set up and printing
