Unhappy Dual Channel Memory?

I need to add RAM for some software I'm about to purchase. I see ddr that is dual channel ready---does that mean it is or isn't compatible with a non-dual channel system. My computer doesn't support dual channel. this is what Crucial Memory has as my compatibility:Part #: CT410564 • DDR PC2700 • CL=2.5 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR333 • 2.5V • 128Meg x 64

Hey jabba217,
Welcome to Tech-Forums!!!

If a RAM stick says dual channel ready, it doesn't necessarily mean that you need to run them in dual channel. It's just stating that they're capable of dual channel.

Yea, you can run one stick of DDR and it's fine.
