Default Double Ended Kettle Lead

Hi all, new user here.

I want to setup my two monitors to run from 1 kettle lead, hence the title of this topic.

Would the power consumption be the same or would it be split seeing as the power is only coming from one plug socket?

Thanks in advance.

Buying a y split should be no problem, the power consumption will be the same as the two monitors combined (still not very much).

You should be able to get a better deal than that. The power consumption will be the same as if they were plugged in individually.
