Default Double check my build please.

Hey guys, here is the issue, My grandfather's computer is about capoot, it is just flaking out and about to die on him (it will not even install norton correct) I just spent the past 2 hours with my uncle on the phone trying to get the **** thing to work doing everything I know of to get it to work.

I need a build that is as CHEAP as it can go, it does NOT need a video card, it does NOT need alot of RAM, and it sure as **** does not need a Conroe processor =P. Please critique this build so I am sure it will all work together, I am sure it will but it is always best to get a second opinion.

Will the PSU run all of it (I am pretty sure, build into the Case).

Again guys, I do NOT need any powerful processor or graphics or anything like that, I am just making sure that
1. this build will work and
2. the PSU on the Case will handle it.

Thanks guys.

looks good but if you want to go as cheap as can be, i built a sempron system for my grandfather and he loves it. heck even i love it if you want to look at the best value for money parts though the venice is probably a good choice. it may sound like overkill but like i said if you are after best value get a 250gb hdd at the moment http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144417

it may be overkill but in the case of my grandfather he keeps begging for me to get him a bigger hdd even though i keep telling him he doesn't need it, so if your grandfather is the same perhaps that could avoid some hassle

It looks like a really good budget build. There's hardly anything I would want to change.

You can save fifty whole cents while squeezing a little more performance (I realize performance isnt that big of a deal). By going with this for RAM:

qi POWER Series 512MB (2 x 256MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory - Retail
$47.99

I actually built a very similar system like that for my mom

good build, you do need an optical drive, or just use one around the house.
