There is a plethora of help aviable on this forum. I would suggest IMing pzerofgh, he knows his stuff and Im sure macdude425 no his stuff as well.

Oh and while Im thinking about it, why is it that they load new computers down with some much crap. I feel like one day when I'm old I'm going to be telling my children that I remeber when you didn't have 60 system trey icons for programs that magically ran your computer (and slowly stole your soul at the same time). That is one of the most frustrating things about prepackaged machines.

If you think about it you can relate a computer to a car. Back in the the day all you had was a carb, but now with all the new cars they have so many sensors on them its impossible to change the air filter without a sensor going off to make you take it to dealership.Kinda the same with the dell its like they put useless programs that mess up the computer.
