Default Does a good vc makes a difference on movies?

Hi. I wonder if a good vc, lets say a 6600gt or up, makes a difference on watching movies on a pc? I currently have a 5200 vc.

AMD 3800 x2 Windsor 2.0 GHZ
1gb RAM 667 MHz
Asus M2N-E Mobo 9600gt
W.D 320 gb hd
Pioneer 111
LG dvd-rom
21.6 samsung
Windows xp pro sp2

the vc i currently have is an evga geforce 5200 and it plays movies fine. i suggest you keep the one you have and if you are downloading movies look for .avi files, ones with divx, screener, or dvd rip in the title.
