Does a 20+4 Pin Power Supply mean it will work in a 20 pin mobo?

Pretty sure it does and my new 20+4 Pin Power Supply does fit in my motherboards 20 Pin slot just want to make sure I'm not gonna blow my computer up.

It will work. The extra 4 pins are so that the PSU is compatable with 24 pin mobos. They are removable so it is compatable with a 20 pin mobo.
