Here are my specs
Processors: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 945
Graphics card:Nvidea GeForce gts 250
RAM:8gb
Hardrive 1tb
Power supply:700w
I use a 46inch tv screen as my monitor
My computer doesn't really overheat at all, except a few times while playing Portal 2, average temp when gaming is around 70 degrees ti max is 83 a think. Anyway I was thinking about upgrading to a Nvidea geforce GTX 560 ti. Should I buy a new powersupply? Water cooling? new case? (have a ****ty computer case)

What model PSU is that? Just 700W doesn't tell us a whole lot.

Also, what temps are you getting at idle? Show us a screenshot of HWMonitor.

You need a better case. To test this, pop open the side panel.

The 80C, is that the cpu? Cause on an X4, thats a bit toasty.

Despite the generallness of your 700W psu, even the crappy ones have plenty of power for a single card. Though 2 cards may be a no go.

So nah, the psu should be just fine. I'd spend money on a case and a aftermarket heatsink. Nothiung to tricked, but a midrange model will do wonders for things.

Oh, elcome to the forum too
