If I'm not mistaken the 5600+ X2 is slightly better than the e6300.
Personally I'd go for the AMD build, it's a little bit faster for the price and I'm an AMD fanboy anyways (don't ask why I have an Intel proc lol).

if the systems aren't being overclocked then go with the AMD, it will perform better and you can help the underdogs

At stock 5600+ is much faster than E6300. I think 5600+ is on par with E6420 at stock, but intel are better overclockers
