Default difference in geforce 6600 and 6600GT

whats the difference between a Geforce 6600Gt and just a regular Geforce 6600. Would the quality be the same if i got like a 256MB 6600 to a 128MB 6600GT?

for example:

VS.

which one would have better performance? i'm guessin the GT but can the 6600 still play the some of the newer games in medium quality, i'm just lookin for a video card to play RA2, Deus Ex, and maybe some new games in medium quality or w.e. It also has to be able to hand dvds and movie editing.

The performance increase is waiting a week and scraping up an extra 20 dollars or whatever the difference is. The higher clock speeds, and the GDDR3 ram makes the thing rock. It's monumental enough that when I look at cards, I see them as either "pre-6600gt" or "post-6600gt". It's really a good card.
