Difference between cpus

Is there much difference between the T4400 and the T6600?

the t4400 is a newer "pentium duel-core" while the other is an older "core two duo"

Same speed freq(2.2ghz) FSB (800mhz) and cache (2mb)..but the t4400 is a newer architecture so it, in theory, will be faster

Really. It is also cheaper too.

yep, sounds about right..that's what happens when newer architectures come out, they start cheaper n junk...

Hmm, I thought the pentium dual cores were the older ones and the core 2 duo are the newer ones. Guess I learned something today.

pentium ones are newer...the pentium 1/2/3/4 are the old ones
