Question dell xps350 old but great. about RAM RAM

Hey guys

I wanted to upgrade my dell xps350 memory. I am planning to get the 256mb sdram pc100. But how do I know what the maximum speed is on the RAM?? I'm not sure if it can handle a pc133... the other 2 rams I have in there are pc100's. I read somewhere long time ago that only 256mb is the max for one slot.

Where can i get this information? How can I find out the max speed of the RAM and max memory size?

Thanks

Putting PC133 RAM in a PC100 computer is fine, it'll clock down.

As for the max memory supported, I'm guessing 256 per slot is about right.

NEVERMIND guys, just found it. Just my luck. For those who might need same info, this system can take a max of 384mb at pc100. Good thing I didn't buy the 256mb or it woulda been useless.

Wow, I thought Dell only started the XPS line around the time of the Geforce 5 series. :freak:
