Dell xps 420 video card

I have an old dell xps 420 that needs a new video card (bsod + beep code). Is there a better compatible video card or should i stick with the factory default? I've tried to find out for myself online but there is not much info on this pc.

The XPS 420 is pretty old now. You shouldn't have any issues upgrading the graphics card on that model, but just don't go overboard as it'll be a waste.
