I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 that I use for basic personal use and school. I would like to upgrade it though to use it for business as well and maybe even some gaming. What can I do to upgrade (like what do I need to buy or what do you recommend)? Here are the specs:

BIOS Version/Date: Dell In.c A07, 5/13/2009

SMBIOS Version: 2.4

Memory: 4 GB RAM

Sound: IDT High Definition Audio CODEC

Audio: Intel High Definition Audio 2.0

Hard Drive: 250 GB 5400 RPM Hard Drive

Display: 15.6" Widescreen 4500 MHD

Battery: 6-cell Lithium Ion & 9-cell Lithium Ion

Modem: Novatel Wireless Modem

Network Adapters: Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100 AGN

Network Adapter (2): Marvell Yukon 88E8040 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller

Default Re: Dell Inspiron 1545 Upgrade

The only thing you can upgrade on that laptop is the RAM, HDD, and OS. If you want to update things such as the GPU or CPU then you will need a desktop PC.
