Default Dell 4600 memory upgrade HELP

Hey, hoping for some quick help for a nontechie

Dad owns a Dell Dimension 4600 with only 256MB of memory. So needless to say, looking to upgrade...

I went to Newegg.com to look at memory, but it never says which would be compatible with his computer. The descriptions for some reason don't describe.

I'm looking to get 512MB (2 x 256), but don't know which brand/specifications are compatible. Can anyone please post me links to some of the compatible brands. Looking to spend as cheap as possible for any decent RAM. Thanks so much in advance.....

any one of these will work... or a 512 "kit" as long as it's PC2700 333

yes... but look for kits... they are usually cheaper than buying singles. Corsair or Kingston I have had in dells before with no problems.
