Dedicated power supply for a graphics card?

Make sure the PSUs are the same size.

The only time it is a good idea to have two power supplies is if you want one to power a phase change, peltier cooler or a water pump..

hehe you don't need another PSU for a waterpump...mine does around 900lph with 5meters head and only used around 18watts.

Or a peltier cooler. Well depending on how powerful a peltier you get. I'm not sure. But definitely a phase change.
