Default Decent office system fo $250-$300 range?

Anyone know of a good deal at the moment for a system in the 250-300 range? My wife needs it for general office type work and surfing, no gaming or anything. I will probably put Win 7 pro or ultimate on it and upgrade my PC with Win 7 too, they will be networked together.

This is about the best one I have found, I can get a monitor from them for another $80 or so.

This one looks decent too but I'm not sure about the CPU. Has a monitor.

At that price, i'd build an AMD based onboard gpu setup.

With grabbing deals off of egg, it'll be easy to do...

After thinking about it I may go up to $400. I may go for a build but I figured it may be cheaper to just buya system since it is lower end.

this looks like a good deal also. comes with a monitor and vista home premium, $330.

Newegg.com - eMachines ET1300-02 18.5" Widescreen LCD Athlon X2 4850e(2.5GHz) 3GB DDR2 160GB NVIDIA GeForce G100 Windows Vista Home Premium - Desktop PCs

IMO its a better deal than the emachines you had originally linked. this one has a dual core vs a single core and they both come with a monitor, an OS, and 3gigs of ram. only thing is that this one has half the hdd space (only a 160gb hdd)

Thanks for the info and links guys. I like both options it gives me something to think about.

If I were to immediatly upgrade to Win 7 before I even used the PC could I sell the copy of Vistaor is it like a bundled version where you can only install it on a specific PC? I've always built up to this point so I have never bought a premade system.

Its a version just for that machine line.. There isn't usually a disk, but a partion, so you wouldn't have anything to sell anyway

I just saw this on tiger direct, I could get that and a monitor from computergeeks for about $390, this seems like a great deal for the price.

In your opinion do you think I should wait for black friday/cyber monday or is this as good a deal I will find then.

I have only shopped a lot one year during the thanksgiving weekend specials so I'm not really familiar with it.
