it's cheap and decent for a non gamer who uses it for basic everyday use... surfing, email, office docs, etc... but I would not even consider putting games on it unless it was something a few years old... the integrated graphics are not very good for games...

if you get it... put another stick of ram in at the very least

for a basic, non tecnical person... it would be good... put a good all in one type "anti-everything" suite that has auto update and it would be perfect for that older parent who doesn't want to bother doing all that stuff... :) lol

Exactly! I'm buying it for my parents. Should be perfect for them.

Well, I'm a parent too. lol However, my parents arent too computer friendly, so this should be fine. :)
