Default Are DDR RAM backwards compatible?

Like the title says, I had to make clear. Are all DDR backwards compatible when it's concerned with the speeds? Would PC3200 work perfectly well in a mobo that supports PC2100 ram? Would the 3200 just work at 2100 speeds?

Send a message via MSN to Ste

Any Speed will work, if its a higher speed then its rated for, it will just be downclocked.
