i have a dell 8100 with 256 rdram and i want 512 why the **** is it so expensive i mean its 200 bucks for 512 does n e one have any used rdram i could buy from ya any in put on some cheaper prices or some used stuff u have

check www.crucial.com for memory compatible with your system. It's generally cheaper there.

I did some Googling.

You're gonna find prices for a 512MB kit (2 sticks of 256) for between $185 - $200.

RDRAM is very expensive... part of the reason it is not in use nowadays.

For that kind of money, you could buy a decent motherboard and regular DDR or DDR2 to go with it.
