First time builder here, let me know what you think, making for family, used for bit of gaming and mostly internet/music/school work. Any suggestions for cheaper alternatives let me know!! BTW in Canada, is tigerdirect going to be the cheapest?

Corsair Value Select Dual Channel 1024MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz Memory ( 2 x 512MB ) ~133 CDN

NEC ND3540A / 16x8x16x DVD+RW / 16x6x16x DVD-RW / 8x DVD+R DL / 6x DVD-R DL / 48x32x48x CD-RW / Black / Dual Layer / OEM DVD Burner with Nero Software ~57 CDN

Coolmax / CX-400B / Silver / 400-Watt / ATX / 120mm Fan / SATA-Ready / Power Supply ~48 CDN

Ultra UV Wizard Blue ATX Mid-Tower Case with UV Reactive Clear Side, Front USB and Firewire Ports ~ 21 CDN

Maxtor / DiamondMax 10 / 160GB / 7200 / 16MB / ATA-133 / EIDE / OEM / RoHS Compliant Hard Drive ~82 CDN

Total 989 CDN + taxes, shipping

What do you think?
Thanks!

Ditch the Maxtor. Go with WD or Seagate.

Another question, I would prefer a quiet power supply, does the size of fan matter (ie. 1 120mm or dual 80mm or single 80mm) Also tigerdirect only has aspire and thermaltake. Prefer to spend around $50CDN. Prefer something without LEDs or anything flashy, whatever gets the job done quietly.

Thanks for the input

Oh ya one more thing, why ditch the maxtor? Crappy drive?
