Cpu upgrade

Right now I have a intel core2 duo t8300. I can get a intel core2duo t9500 for like $25. Is this worth the upgrade? It has double the the cache. The t8300 is 2.4ghz with a 3mb cache and the t9500 is 2.6ghz with a 6mb cache. Should I bother? Is this going to make a difference at all?

Depends on a lot of things really. DOes your laptop bios support the chip, is your CPU soldered in, is the cooling solution and PSU sufficient?

Will it make a difference? Probably not.
