CPU Upgrade

I have been thinking of upgrading my 2.01Ghz CPU Athlon 64 3200+.
This is my full specs list of the CPU i currently have:
Cores 1
Threads 1
Name AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Code Name Orleans
Package Socket AM2 (940)
Technology 90nm
Specification AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3200+

I want a recommended upgrade to upgrade the CPU hopefully to around 3Ghz using that AM2 (940) Socket.

It's not very cost effective to upgrade such an old platform. Find any old Athlon X2 used. I wouldn't pay anymore than 30 bucks for one.
