Default CPU Temp.

Ok I just installed an AMD Phenom II Quad-core 940 processor, my temps are up from my old processor, my readings are temp 1 53C, temp 2 51C, and core 59C, I just added an extra 120mm. fan into my setup, the temps seem to stay rather steady, but should I worry considering those seem high.

Default Re: CPU Temp.

AMD Processors for Desktops: AMD Phenom?, AMD Athlon? FX, AMD Athlon? X2 Dual-Core, AMD Athlon?, and AMD Sempron? Processor

I would be very worried the max temp is 62'c.

Check Bios to see if the CPU voltage is set at correct settings.

Make sure your heat sink is clean.

I have read amd heat sinks aren't quite up to par.
