I haven't built one, but I can say that most of the LGA 1156 motherboards have gotten great reviews. What's your budget? And do you need mouse/keyboard/monitor?

I need it all except for a monitor, and would like to keep it under $1000.

another suggestion. this here totals $855 + shipping, so you still have some room for other things you might want to get. i dont know if you also need an OS also; if you don't then you can get a good aftermarket cpu cooler, and/or a nice keybaord + mouse. this build is crossfire ready also, incase you want to add a second card later on.

I'd go with this build, since neither had an OS included, and this is the cheaper of them.

I agree. The build Muffin posted is a solid build.

Agreed. Haven't had the time to look up for combos. I don't want to crossfire, I'm only a occasional gamer, that's why I bought the Asus board.

hey thats fine if you prefer asus, but its not like gigabyte is a crap brand or anything nor is that mobo bad. how do i luv spending other peoples money? the build i listed includes an hdd and case which the asus build doesnt have included, and it is $50 cheaper.
