Nope you cannot. That looks like a socket 478. The core 2 duos are socket 775. So you need to get a 775 motherboard, along with DDR2 ram.

alright thanks.so core 2 duo chips only available in 775 socket.do they have other kind of sockets?

no, not unless you include the merom variant which i presume is socket 479 for laptops. it should also be noted that not all s775 motherboards will support core 2 duo processors.
